Disputed Excess Transportation Charges System
The DETC application allows suppliers the ability to view and print DETC cover letters which must be the first document of a dispute package. Authorized Ford and Visteon personnel have the ability to resolve and report supplier disputes of premium freight transportation charges, for both manufacturing and assembly plants oline. Suppliers can review the status of their disputes at this site and users with appropriate permissions can use the maintenance and administration tools.

Audience
This applications is intended for use by:

• Transportation Suppliers
• Authorized Ford & Visteon personnel

Technical Requirements

• Internet Explorer (IE) (5.x or above) or
• Netscape Communicator (NC) (4.04, 4.51, or 4.7).

Registration
Currently, in order to access this application you must be a registered Ford Supplier Portal user. If you need access to this application, but do not yet have access to the Ford Supplier Portal, you must follow the instructions below.

1. In the left menu bar click "Administration Tools"
2. Select "request service" under "my profile".
3. Click "Request" button next to "Ford Supplier Portal"
4. After requesting the Ford Supplier Portal, the company administrator at your company will approve or reject your application request.
