3270 Access
The purpose of the 3270 Access application is to provide the capability to access Ford Motor Company 3270 mainframe DDL applications through the web. Direct Data Link (DDL) is a feature of numerous Ford mainframe systems that allows real time communication between Ford and its supplier partners.

Connectivity to Ford systems that have the DDL feature is currently attained mainly via 3270 (e.g.: WIPS, EASI, MSIII, CMMS, MNP and ELECT)

Registration
To access this web application, you must have:
 

1. A Covisint User ID and Password
2. Permission to the Ford Supplier Portal Service
3. Access to 3270 Access application

If you already have access to the Ford Supplier Portal, but do not yet have access to this application, you must follow the instructions below.

1. In the left menu bar click "Administration Tools".
2. Select "request service" under "my profile".
3. Under "Ford Supplier Portal" click "request sub-package".
4. Click the request button next to the application you need access to.

Note: After requesting access to an application, a company administrator at your organization will need to approve or reject your request. If you are unable to request the application, after following these steps, please contact the Covisint helpdesk.
