Global Catalog
The Ford Global Catalog (GCAT) is a Company developed system for developing, maintaining and distributing catalog information for vehicles manufactured by Ford Motor Company. This web site was developed to allow access for outside companies to specific catalog information. The Illustration functionality was developed for use by Illustrators outside of Ford Motor Company. When Ford Illustration Analysts and Coordinators change illustration specifications, those specifications and illustrations are sent to illustrators outside of Ford Motor Company. The Illustration functionality allows the outside illustrators to retrieve the specifications and illustrations, modify those illustrations and send them back to Ford Motor Company for incorporation into the catalog. The Translation functionality was developed for use by Translators outside of Ford Motor Company. Because of the global nature of the catalog, catalog information must be translated into languages that serve our customers' markets. As information is put into the catalog, the information is sent to outside translators for translation. The Translation functionality allows the outside translators to retrieve the catalog information and then to send the translated information back to Ford Motor Company for incorporation into the catalog.

Registration
Currently, in order to access this application you must be a registered Ford Supplier Portal user. If you need access to this application, but do not yet have access to the Ford Supplier Portal, you must follow the instructions below.

1. In the left menu bar click "Administration Tools"
2. Select "request service" under "my profile".
3. Click "Request" button next to "Ford Supplier Portal"
4. After requesting the Ford Supplier Portal, the company administrator at your company will approve or reject your application request.
