eAPQP (e-Advanced Production Quality Planning)

Overview:

The Electronic Advanced Product Quality Planning (eAPQP) is web-based database system that allows Ford's Global Suppliers to populate and submit their Advanced Product Quality Planning / Production Part Approval Process (APQP/PPAP) Readiness Assessments (Schedule A's) to Ford.

eAPQP allows suppliers and Ford to:

-           Exchange, review and address information/issues in real time from a standard web browser,

-           Apply the APQP/PPAP processes consistently to all vehicle programs and regions,

-           Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the program teams and

-           Allow for standardized workflows, forms, and reports.

 

Steps Before Escalation:

-           Please allow 24 hours after your CSA approved your request to sync data between Covisint and eAPQP.

-           Please provide your Covisint ID, first name and last name and application name when you escalate.

Registration
To access this web application, you must have:

1.     A Covisint User ID and Password

2.     Permission to the Ford Supplier Portal Service

3.     Access to the application

If you already have access to the Ford Supplier Portal, but do not yet have access to this application, you must follow the instructions below.

1.     In the left menu bar click "Administration Tools".

2.     Select "request service" under "my profile".

3.     Under "Ford Supplier Portal" click "request sub-package".

4.     Click the request button next to the application you need access to.

Note: After requesting access to an application, a company administrator at your organization will need to approve or reject your request. If you are unable to request the application, after following these steps, please contact the Covisint helpdesk.
