GitHub is a web-based version control and source code management system that is used by developers and individuals who might want to track changes to documentation and source code. One of the key features that GitHub includes is social file collaboration. GitHub provides an interface through which team members can request changes to be made to a file, review changes in detail, comment on changes, and then integrate them into the team's repository all within the same tool.
GitHub is intended for use by:
Ford developers who require a source code management and version control system
Ford Employees who require version control to track changes to their team's documentation.
