This Rail and Haulaway Manual has been prepared to assist you in the important day-to-day job of handling Ford-built vehicles. Our overall mutual goal continues to be the maintenance of Ford quality. Your role in this goal is simply to "handle with care" each vehicle you load, unload and tie-down. The Ford method for loading, unloading, tie-down and for general vehicle handling is fully described in this manual. We suggest you keep this manual with you, if possible, at all times. If not, be sure you know where it is easily accessible. Of course, answers to questions that may not be listed in this manual should be directed to your supervisor. All regular training at your company, in the proper handling of Ford vehicles, will be conducted by members of your management. Manuals will be available electronically on Covisint and available for download. For further details contact the NAVL (North American Vehicle Logistics) office. keywords: haulaway, unloading, loading, navl, vehicle handling, rail
