2017_RSMS (Version 1.7)
Owner : Bill Reynolds, 11/7/13 3:26 PMVersion 1.7
Status: Approved
Subject: 2017 Global Restricted Substance Management Standard (RSMS), Conflict Minerals, and American Automobile Labeling Act Reporting Requirements. This letter communicates the release of the 2017 RSMS, Conflict Minerals, and American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) reporting obligations. All Ford Motor Company internal and external suppliers are required to submit data in support of Vehicle Program timing deadlines. Compliance with these requirements is consistent with Ford Motor Company's commitment to environmental responsibility and conformance to global governmental regulations. Full compliance is a requirement of the production and non-production Ford Global Terms and Conditions and a key element of Q1, PPAP/PSW, and Program Engineering Sign-Off events. In order to help suppliers prepare for upcoming regulations and potential prohibitions, a forecasting document entitled “2017 RSMS Substances Being Considered for Prohibition” is attached to the 2017 RSMS Package. We strongly encourage suppliers to consider alternatives to the substances being considered for prohibition.Download (1,460.3k) Get URL or WebDAV URL.
